Job Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions to develop personalized treatment plans.

  • Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to enhance patients’ recovery and mobility.

  • Educate patients on their conditions, treatment plans, and exercises to encourage at-home progress.

  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

  • Monitor patients’ progress, document treatments, and adjust plans as necessary.

  • Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and reports.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.

  • Promote a positive, motivating environment that supports patient recovery and clinic growth.

Qualifications

  • Eligible for New Mexico licensure as a Physical Therapist.

  • New grads welcome! Prior outpatient ortho experience is a plus.

  • Full-time availability (32+ hours per week required).

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.

  • Proven experience as a Physical Therapist in rehabilitation, orthopedic, or sports medicine settings (preferred but not required).

  • Strong understanding of treatment practices and therapeutic techniques.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to therapy.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems (preferred).
