Dr. Ryan Wooley is a New Mexico native whose career has been driven by a strong work ethic and a passion for helping people. He spent his teenage years working construction and then decided to move on to a career that was people and health focused. He became a tech/assistant at a local physical therapy clinic during his senior year of high school. He quickly realized the techniques and science came naturally to him, and he decided to begin the path toward a career in physical therapy at Colorado State University. There, he earned his bachelor’s degree in health and exercise science, with a focus on sports medicine. After graduating, Dr. Wooley spent time working in oil and gas pipeline construction to save money for physical therapy school.
He attended the University of St. Augustine in Florida and earned his doctorate of physical therapy and became a certified manual therapist and has since continued taking advanced manual therapy courses as well as vestibular rehabilitation and balance training courses in continuing education.
Since graduating, Dr. Wooley has gained experience as a traveling physical therapist, and worked in out-patient private practice and home health. He is passionate about exercise and enjoys many outdoor activities with his wife and two sons.
